"You shouldn't be in here."

Siela turned around, surprised. "I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'll be leaving, then." She walked towards the heavy oak doors at the other side of the room, meandering around numerous towering shelves, which were all stacked neatly with books of all shapes and sizes. Reaching the doors, she reached for the handle, only to find a figure blocking her way.

"I said that you shouldn't be in here. That doesn't mean that you can't be in here."

Siela opened her mouth to respond, but the girl cut her off. "So, you're the new one? You're not quite what I was expecting." She stared at Siela with a piercing gaze. "This isn't a game for the weak-hearted, you know," she whispered in Siela's ear as she stepped aside, allowing her to leave.
